Most agent demos are chatbots in a trench coat. Real agents ingest tickets, draft responses, execute SQL, write to systems of record, and hand off to a human when the evidence is thin. Every action is logged. Every decision is auditable. Every prompt is versioned.
We design the guardrails first. Role-based permissions, red-teaming harnesses, approval flows, evaluation sets. These ship with the agent, not bolted on in a later sprint. The system stays honest because we made it harder to be dishonest.
